Wednesday, Feb 15 Weight Loss Journal

So no gym last night, Devin was exhausted. After I got home last night to discover two boxes which contained a brand new outfit (you girls keep your dying flowers, I will take clothes over flowers any day!) we headed over to my folks for a quick visit and just went to taco villa and then home, Dev was out for the night by 9 o'clock and I was close behind. So not only did I eat fast food (dang it!) but I didn't go to the gym on top of it! Argh! But we are going tonight for our legs workout when the hubs gets off work. My arms are more sore today then they were yesterday and as sore as they are I am super happy cause it means I am really working my muscles.

My new fitness gloves are in the mail, hopefully I will get them before our next arms day. I am absolutely in love with them!


Oh and I completely forgot to weigh myself this morning, I was running a wee bit late, so I will weigh in tomorrow morning.

Today has proven to be quite difficult - thanks to a board meeting catered by Zucchis, a local Italian restaurant. The choices were chicken Parmesan, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, jalapeno bacon gravy, salad, homemade bread... as you can see it - it was quite a dilemma.And THEN someone brought homemade chocolate chip cookies. OI VEY!

Lunch-
Chicken fried steak with 2 tablespoons of gravy, 1/2 cup of corn, lettuce, and 1 tablespoon of ranch, 1 oz. of bread (in other words, guess who ate enough to be stuck with salad for dinner? THIS GIRL!)

Note - as of 4PM I have successfully stayed away from not only the cookies but the catering deserts that were brought in as well. It's the small victories that make me proud haha!


Well 5:30 rolled around and I bombed my day. I ate a single cookie and I had 1 left over chicken fried steak with jalepeno bacon gravy and about 1/2 cup of corn. Failure.


The hubby & I did head to the gym tonight though for a good hour. Sadly I don't feel the sore muscles from leg night, but I learned to use a lot of equipment and did do quite a bit of exercising. I just am going to have to hit it harder tomorrow.
