Thursday, Feb 16 Weight Loss Journal

Well I start this day feeling quite discourages.
A] my weight loss comes in at a whopping 0% improvement. 
B] My numbers yesterday, even though I stayed in my calorie range were less then impressive.

So I am kind of disappointed at the moment. I am one of those people who has to have results in order to be motivated - and so today my motivation seems to be lacking. However, I have my gallon of water at my desk and I am warming some water for some oatmeal for breakfast. Today there won't be any mean little catering companies attempting to ruin my healthy clean eating.

Last night was "legs night" and unfortunately we didn't get everything in that we had hoped, the husband got home late and so we didn't get to the gym till around 11:10 or so, and we got a bout a 1 hour workout in. My legs aren't even a little sore, which is a let down considering my arms are STILL sore from Monday's workout. However I did learn to use a lot of the equipment and so it wasn't a complete loss, at least I made it to the gym right? And I did workout, even if it didn't leave me with sore muscles.

Tonight we are going back to the gym for "abs night" which Mr. W has informed me is going to be "brutal" and you know what? I am PUMPED. I hope it is brutal and that it hurts to laugh tomorrow! Heck yeah.

My goal here isn't to become skinny - that is just a perk to my ultimate goal... to mold my bodies like these ladies have, to be muscle. Granted I don't want to look like the Hulk or anything, but I would like to be defined and lean. Fo sho!

It's so hard not to just go the easy route and pay a couple hundred bucks for something like this Advocare crack that everyone on Facebook seems to be pushing now. But anything that makes you lose 3 pounds in a day in a half isn't something I would ever consider as healthy. Everyone seems to be on it, constant feed news about so and so has lose 12 lbs in 12 lbs. But you know if it was that easy to lose weight AND keep it off then everyone and their dog would be doing it. My bet is that programs like this you have to stay on because as soon as you quit you just gradually start gaining that weight back. This isn't stomach stapling people.


Well I am off to eat my oatmeal and get cracking out this gallon of water. These ladies will keep me motivated, even if my scale doesn't. Dinner tonight I am planning is baked chicken that has been marinading in balsamic vinegar and dijon all day and a side of asparagus and cauliflower. Oh Yeah!
