Sunday, Feb 19 Weight Loss Journal

Well after our late night breakfast at 3AM which added up the calorie count in a blink on an eye, I have yet to eat anything today and its already well past 1 in the afternoon. Planning on digging into some oatmeal made with milk here in just a few though so I will pull up those numbers in just a few moments.

Yesterday's numbers made me cringe, almost TWO days of calories in a 24 hour period. No no no - I think instead of full cheat days I might just have like a cheat meal and maybe a couple of cheat snacks. In other news my abs are pretty significantly sore and my legs have simmered in terms of being sore. We are taking Sunday off from the gym, eventually when I become more comfortable withe equipment by myself I will probably work out much more frequently. I am going to work on a schedule for our weight training and cardio.

Well I tried to eat some oatmeal with milk, but only ate a bite or two - I just couldn't stomach it really. I ate so very little I am unsure of the calorie intake so I am just not including it. So I haven't eaten really in over 12 hours, which isn't good at all but I just haven't been hungry in the least. Mr. W & I are going to my parent's house for dinner.

Dinner consisted of half a pork rib, 1/3 cup of green beans, lettuce & 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing, a sprite zero, 1/3 cup of M&Ms for desert, and a cup of coffee with 3 tablespoons of heavy cream and some sugar free french vanilla syrup.

I am going to end the night with a protein shake which will hopefully help ease the soreness I am feeling in my abs & obliques cause it was dang near intolerable today, but oh it feels so good! :) Tomorrow is Arms & Shoulder days and I am so ready to feel the burn! I am really considering changing my diet, my mom has found great success on a carb diet rather then focusing on calories, and although I will remain mindful of my calories I noticed from recording my eating habits last week that I really do need to lower my carb intake. So I am going to sit down and talk to my mom about how she goes about with her diet, plus I am more aware that with her nursing history she would probably be able to distinguish how to have a healthier eating habit to take up.
